This atelier was born when a visual artist turned bio-hacking enthusiast decided to get an MFA in interior architecture, only to realize that current building practices are completely out of alignment with human biology.
Contaminated water, dirty electricity, EMF, poor air quality, and toxic lighting are just some of the most prominent issues present in virtually every home. When one starts to consider the impact of our habitats on our nervous system things get even more interesting and nuanced. What does it look like to set up a home that nourishes human body and spirit? How do we begin to realign our indoor living environments with bodies that were built to thrive in nature?
Drawing inspiration from our collective earth mother, as well as the best of what human creativity has to offer - music, poetry, art, soothing austerity of churches and temples, elegance of Paris, and exoticism of Bali - this practice aims to create transformative spaces unique to each client. We build for the body and design for the soul.

MY PERSPECTIVE: Hi, I’m Veronica - a student of energy and a lover of material aesthetics. I’m currently working on my thesis on embodied interiors at Pratt Institute while also designing homes for clients in NYC and Miami. Our homes are the extension of our flesh and our psyche; our existential prosthesis. What we expose this “flesh” to is therefore directly correlated with our well-being. Through my academic work, studies of building biology, and my interest in the human body and spirit, I have come to the conclusion that current building and design practices are making us sick.
